IRON RIVER—“Warm weather seemed to be the charm June 16, as attendance at team tennis at Nelson Field tripled over the first week’s numbers.

“A nice variety of age groupings participated on a warm Tuesday night at the Nelson Field courts. Even the coaches got into the act. We would like all kids to know we play at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays. Players are paired as closely as possible by ability.”

Anyone in the junior high age range can participate. Veterans of the West Iron County high school teams who have graduated are also welcome to attend. Any questions, call John Spelgatti at 265-5573.

Coaches also thanked all the youngsters who attended last week’s S&S tennis camp. “Hope they had as much fun as we did.”
