IRON RIVER—Thank goodness for the indoor fieldhouse at Northland Pines High School! Despite the tenacious winter weather, West Iron’s girls track team has already earned two tournament wins during indoor meets at the Eagle River school.

The West Iron County Huddle of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes presented its Ryan Meyer Competitor Awards during the post-season basketball banquet held recently. From left: Meyer, Cassilyn Pellizzer, Adam Newby and Aren Newby.
IRON RIVER—The West Iron County Huddle of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes presented its annual competitor awards during the recent post-season basketball banquet.
The organization presented its Ryan Meyer Competitor Award to three Wykon seniors: Cassilyn Pellizzer on the girls team and Adam and Aren Newby on the boys team.
