IRON RIVER—The weekly Farmers Market is being held every Wednesday through September, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or earlier if they are sold out. The location is behind the West Iron District Library on the patio and behind the Iron River City Hall in the alley.

IRON RIVER— Harold Bray, a World War II Navy veteran, author and survivor of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis, will share his story on Friday, Aug. 1 at the Windsor Center auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.

Antique appraisal event to be hosted by WIDL

IRON RIVER— Mark Moran, former senior editor of Antiques and Collectibles Books, will visit the West Iron District Library on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an antique and collectibles appraisal event.
There is a $15 per item appraisal fee. A portion of the appraisal fees will be donated back to the library.
