Grant for suicide prevention

IRON MOUNTAIN - The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to Great Lakes Recovery. The grant was possible through a match grant from the Pasahow Family Fund. The grant funding will allow for the purchase of a tent and two chairs to be used annually at the “Hope 2 Help” Suicide Awareness Walk and Community Day.  GLRC will also be able to use these items at other events. The walk was held on Sept. 17.
