CRYSTAL FALLS - Charlene’s Quilting Class will resume on Thursday, Jan. 11 from 9-11:00 a.m. New members are welcome. Please contact the library if interested in joining to ensure we have adequate supplies at 906-875-3344 or email egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org.
Beginning on Monday, Jan. 15, Joe will be running a Digital Music Production Class. Every Monday from 5 - 7 p.m., you can come to the library to learn about how to make music on your computer, phone or tablet. You will also learn common home recording techniques. Please bring your own device with you for the class.
Charlene’s Knitting Class will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 9 -11 a.m. If you have needles, yarn or any started projects please bring them with you to class.
Beginning on Thursday, Jan. 18, Joe will have a Tech Troubleshooting Lab from 1 - 3 p.m. If you have any questions or issues with your laptop, phone or other tech device, you can drop in for assstance.
Saturday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m., Marsha Wainio from the Iron Range Farm Bureau will be leading a story hour all about peanuts. We will be reading several books that feature peanuts, and for a craft, we will make peanut snowman pins. There will be juice boxes and snacks provided.
Thursday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m., Marissa’s craft class will take place. Please register by calling 906-875-3344 or emailing egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org if you would like to join. This month they will be making leather cord caddies.
Saturday, Jan. 27 starting at noon, Anthony Kurtz will be hosting The Chocolate Cake Murder Escape Rooms. Each hour from noon to 4 p.m., groups of people will follow clues in order to determine who committed the crime. They will have one hour to solve the mystery, and if they do—they’ll be rewarded with a slice of chocolate cake in honor of it being National Chocolate Cake Day.
