IRON RIVER — The 24th Annual Parenting Fair will be held on March 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Iron District Library.
The free event features booths with information from local community organizations, as well as prize drawings and a light lunch.
“This is a one-stop-shop for families to find out about activities available for their kids including sports registrations, summer camps, health and wellness information, art and drama, robotics and so much more,” said Erika Sauter, Program Coordinator. “The event is free and includes activities and door prize drawings for book collections, games and toys!”
Families will also have the chance to judge submissions for the annual Kid’s Lego Contest. Registration forms for the Lego contest are available at the circulation desk and submissions are due by Saturday, March 4.
“We hope families will come to learn all about the resources our community has to offer to help their kids grow through play, skill-building, healthy habits and cultivating their imaginations,” said Sauter.
