IRON RIVER – In conjunction with the Christmas in Lights celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2, the Friends of the West Iron District Library will hold its annual bake sale and chili feed.
A large assortment of fresh baked goods will be on sale on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library circulation desk area. Anyone who would like to donate baked goods for the sale can take them to the library conference room on Friday, Dec. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on Saturday Dec. 2 from 9-10 a.m.
Prior to the Christmas parade that evening, the Friends will host a chili feed from 4-6 p.m. in the J. Patrick White Conference Room. The public is invited to come in and enjoy a bowl of chili, including one refill, a cookie and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate for $6. Several varieties of chili will be available.
