IRON RIVER — The West Iron District Library has two upcoming events. On Thursday, March 23, will be the third in its series, “Ask Me Anything,” at 3:15 p.m.
This month’s event will feature a special presentation from Sierra Endel from Heart and Soul K9 Training who will share and show about service animals, accompanied by her dog, Mate.
“The Ask Me Anything programs are a great way to explore a new hobby or interest,” said Erika Sauter, Program Coordinator. “And if you’ve ever been curious about what it takes to train a service animal, or how to engage with a service animal, this is your opportunity to learn.”
On Saturday, March 25, the Library will showcase local authors who will have booths and sell signed copies of their books. Authors slated to attend are Nikki Mitchell, Anne Miller, Gale Galotta and Melanie Roath.
Nikki recently published the third book in her Eleanor Mason trilogy and this will be the first opportunity to purchase a signed copy.
There will be free refreshments and a live book reading at noon for children from Melanie Roath, who will read from her book titled “The Secret Life of a Quilt.”
For more information, contact the West Iron District Library at 906-265-2831 or stop by the circulation desk located at 116 W. Genesee Street.
