NEGAUNEE — The 2021 Upper Peninsula Association of American Legion Posts Summer Convention has been scheduled for June 18 and 19 at Post No. 50 in Iron Mountain. Registration is $10 per person. Post No. 50 will be sending out further information soon.
The 2021 UPAA (Auxiliary) spring meeting will be on Saturday, May 1, at Post No. 71 in Gladstone. Lunch is at noon with the meeting set to begin at 1 p.m. (Eastern).
Those attending are asked to remember to mask up and social distance at the meetings.
Also, the 2021 Department Convention is scheduled for July 8-11, at the Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie. Registration is $15 per person. The U.P. Association Convention Committee is host for this convention.

There was not a Legionnaire of the Year for 2019. The committee is looking for nominees for future awards are summer conventions.
