IRON RIVER—The Beechwood Historical Society will host the Beechwood Flea Market and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 31.
Spots are free to vendors. Vendors spots are 10-feet by 10-feet on the lawn. More than one spot can be requested. There are 30 spots on the lawn at the Beechwood Hall.
“We are offering spaces for free because we want people to be able to get together,” said Charlotte Bofinger of the Beechwood Historical Society.
“Back in the 1980s, there used to be flea market around the Beechwood Store (that is no longer there.) We want to bring back some of the area’s history.”
The bake sale will take place inside the hall. There will be places for people to sit and eat. A lunch of hot dogs and brats will be available.
Flea items, crafters and vendors with commercial products are welcome.
For more information or to reserve a spot, call 906-284-1501. The Beechwood Hall is located at 178 Beechwood Store Rd., north of U.S. 2. Signs will be posted.
