Crystal Falls – On Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. there will be a Halloween story hour at the Crystal Falls District Community Library. Children will get to listen to some spooky Halloween stories. For a craft, we will be making Halloween necklaces. There will be some spooky Halloween cupcakes and juice boxes served.
Later on the 28, from 3 - 5 p.m., the Friends of the Crystal Falls District Community Library will be passing out Halloween-themed books as a part of the Business Association’s Annual Candy Bash. There are hundreds of eerie books for children of all ages that they will be giving away for free.
On Thursday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m., Marissa will be leading a craft class on making found object earrings. She has plenty of Barbie shoes and keys, that you can use to make your earrings, or if you have some small objects that you would like to turn into earrings—please bring them. The class is free, and all the materials are provided.
The library is located at 237 Superior Avenue. Please call or email Evelyn to register 906-875 3344 / egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org. (Submitted photos)
