DIDHD offering NEHA food safety training course

SAGOLA – The Dickinson-Iron District Health Department will be offering a National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) Food Safety Training “Manager Certification Course”.
This course will ensure that food managers and supervisors have the necessary tools to educate their staff on the best practices of food handling. Most licensed food establishments must have a certified manager.
You can choose to attend the 2-day class that will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7 and Thursday Feb. 9. The cost is $185. Or take the test only on Thursday Feb. 9. The cost is $35.
The classes will be held at the Sagola Community Building, 306 1st Street (off of Hwy M-69) in Sagola. Pre-registration is required. The class is limited to 20 people. You are not registered until we receive payment. Registration is due by Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Registration forms are available at our office in Dickinson County at 818 Pyle Dr, Kingsford or our Iron County office at 601 Washington Ave, Iron River, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or by emailing us at rlafave@didhd.org.
