CRYSTAL FALLS – The Crystal Falls District Community Library will host two community events in the coming week.
Saturday, Oct. 15 is Sweetest Day, is a day to be sweet to people by sharing a kind thought, a small gift or a gesture of kindness. It is the perfect day to give a card with a sweet message to someone you appreciate and the Crystal Falls District Community Library has several Sweetest Day Cards to choose from.
The cards are free, and as long as the envelope is addressed, the library will send your card in the mail. If you provide the love and the address, the library will provide the stamp.
On Monday, Oct. 17, Joshua C. Chadd, the award-winning author of the The Brothers Creed book series, will have an author talk at 6 p.m.
Joshua will have his books for sale and will be available to autograph them for any patron who purchases one. There will be coffee, juice and Halloween-themed cookies after his talk. All are welcome.
