Fun in the snow on a warm January day

Wednesday was a great day for Denise Maloney’s pre-K students at Bates to play the winter outdoor game King of the Hill. The temperature topped near 40 degrees, making for an unusual day in January. It was girls against boys for the title of King of the Hill. The crown changed often as each group of kids took turns being in charge of the snow pile.
