The West Iron County Symphony Orchestra held a bake sale at Bigari Ace Hardware on Saturday, Nov. 12 to raise money for their trip to New York at the end of April. The trip will include many sightseeing tourist destinations and an instrumental clinic held at Syracuse University.  They will have the opportunity to check out the history at Ellis Island, pay respects at the 9/11 memorial, and enjoy the sights of the Rockefeller Center. The group will also attend a Broadway show and enjoy a show at the New York Philharmonic. All proceeds from the bake sale go directly to helping the students afford the cost of the trip. The orchestra is currently selling fruit and will have another bake sale on Dec. 3 at Bigari Ace Hardware.  Pictured, from left, are Amber Moody, Tammie Carr, Kloey Thunander and Gracyn Melstrom.
