IRON RIVER – The West Iron District Library is now offering Pastime Bags. These three kits contain everything needed to try out a new hobby - crocheting, bird watching and cribbage.
Pastime bags can be found next to the adult puzzles near the rear entrance and have a two-week checkout period. The crochet bag contains yarn, an instruction book, and crochet needs. The bird-watching bag contains a bird identification book and a pair of binoculars. The cribbage bag contains a deck of cards, a cribbage board and an instruction book.
Don’t see a hobby you’re interested in? Browse the non-fiction books for subjects like gardening, flower arranging, woodworking and wood carving, or foreign languages.
For more information on the Pastime Bags or questions about what kind of books you can find in our stacks, call the WIDL at 906-265-2831.
