Alumna’s Nellie Bly musical premieres

ONTONAGON – Northern Michigan University alumna Karen Saari was commissioned to co-write a musical titled Ten Days in a Madhouse, about journalist Nellie Bly’s experience infiltrating a notorious insane asylum to report on the abhorrent conditions.
