IRON RIVER
The theme of the parade is patriotic. Show your pride in red, white and blue!
10 a.m. Parade (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) Starts at WIC schools, proceed down Stambaugh Hill, Left on Genesee St., to 7th Ave.
The categories are as follows: adult organizations, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, commercial/industrial, youth organizations, horses, non-motorized decorated bikes, farm tractors, comic, classic and antique vehicles plus adult motorized recreational vehicles and reunions.
• Bike-Decorating: Take home kits are available for pick-up at the library through July 3. Supplies provided are for children to decorate their bikes for entry into the parade. One kit per child.
• All veterans are invited to ride the West Side Veterans Council-sponsored trailer. Interested parties can contact Richard Weatherholt at 906-284-0078. Veterans are to report to the staging area at the high school at 9:30 a.m.
• Immediately following the Parade, the West Iron Co. Fire Dept. at 640 N 9th Ave. will have fun for the whole family: free ice cream, kids races and a watermelon eating contest.
Premiums will be paid for first through third place in each category. 
Breakfast & Brats, American Legion Reino Post 21 will be serving hot dogs and brats July 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., in front of the Washington Avenue Post.
VFW Post 3134 will be cooking on the deck.
Fireworks at Dusk (about 10 pm).

AMASA
9 a.m. Sing-along Mass at Christ Methodist Church.
10 a.m. Flag Raising at the Joe Mechon Park, followed by the Albenio Webber Scholarship Award presentation.
Kid’s Games at Joe Mechon Park. 
Duck Race sponsored by Amasa Museum after kid’s games at Joe Mechon Park.
11 a.m. Cook out sponsored by Albenio Webber Scholarship Committee at Joe Mechon Park – donations accepted. Food-Brats & Hot dogs Supports Albenio Webber Scholarship.
12:30 p.m. Penny scramble at Amasa Museum along with Cracker Jacks.
12:30 - 1 p.m. 50/50 Raffle and Raffle Drawings winners called out at Amasa Museum.
2 p.m. Community Softball Game at school baseball diamond.

ALPHA
The 110th year of the Mastodon Township & Village of Alpha celebration
8 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Vendor Village & Crafts.
9 a.m. - Flag Raising ceremony at the Village Hall featuring the East Side Veterans and the Forest Park High School Band. Adam Stender – Voice of the 4th to MC.
9 - 11 a.m. - Bloody Mary, Mimosa Bar
10 a.m. – Parade theme this year is ‘Summer in the UP’ – Parade will be led by kids and veterans [a shortened route] - the remainder of the parade to follow the regular route with line up beginning at 9 a.m. behind the Village Hall.  Contact july4thalpha@gmail.com for details of parade route and registration form. Following the parade the Mastodon Fire Department will hand out ice cream and Cracker Jacks at the Village Hall.
10 a.m. - Friends of Alpha Pie Social at The Village Hall.
11 a.m. - Kids Game Hour -Will include relay races and water balloon. 
Raffle Drawing - Win up to $1,000! Drawing to be held at the Tennis Court. Purchase Tickets at Alpha MI Brewing Company & Higher Love Crystal Falls.
12 p.m. - Yooper Kiddo Land Sponsored by the Jarvi Family - Bounce House, Dunk Tanks, Face Painting & Balloon Sculptures.
12 to 5 p.m. - Appleton Axe Throwing - Fun for all ages - Axe Throwing (12+), Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Ladder & Ring Toss & More!
12 p.m. - Live Entertainment Sponsored by the Gianaras Family Foundation.
    12 - 3 p.m. Melanie Rose to take the stage on the tennis court.
    3 – 6 p.m.  Daydreamers from Marquette to perform.
    6 - 9:30 p.m. Fire on High from Green Bay/Appleton area performing.
2 p.m. – 4 on 4 Youth Co-ed Volleyball Tournament will be held at the Family Park outdoor volleyball court. Registration is required. Please call Jen at 906-367-2939 or jenfast3@gmail.com.
