IRPD offers to monitor properties

IRON RIVER — The Iron River Police Department is offering to monitor properties of either full-time or season residents while they are away. 
Those interested can stop into the police department or call between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on any weekday. There is a form to fill out for the service. According to the department’s Facebook page, “All information is confidential and will be stored in a secure location.”
The form, titled Resident Vacation Notification, can also be found on the City of Iron River Website at ironriver.org/forms/. Those interested can also email policesecretary@ironriver.org.
