CRYSTAL FALLS — Starting Aug. 9, the Michigan Department of Transportation will address concrete, pavement and drainage structure repairs on U.S. 2/U.S. 141 (5th Avenue) and Hwy. 69 (Superior Avenue) near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Hwy. 69.

The project, which will cost an estimated $228,000 according to a news release from MDOT, has a tentative completion date of Aug. 30. Some night work will be required.
Traffic will be maintained on U.S. 2/U.S. 141 and Hwy. 69 using single-lane closures under flag control. Some of the work will require short-term detours of eastbound U.S. 2 and eastbound and westbound Hwy. 69. Detours on local streets will be posted.
