Sartorelli wins a round in the Ranch Bronc Ride

Louie Sartorelli holds on tight for an amazing 80 point ride on Three Hills Rodeo’s Long Hair.

IRON RIVER — Louie Sartorelli recently won a round in the Ranch Bronc Ride at the U.P. Championship Rodeo with an 80-point ride on Three Hills Rodeo’s Long Hair. 
This was Sartorelli’s second year participating in the Rodeo but has been hooked since his first event.
“I started last year when I saw it in the paper and decided to go out on a limb and do it,” he said. “And then I was hooked.” He had never been on a horse before that, but the adrenaline rush was enough to keep him going.
He won first place in an event in DePere Wis., last year and has done well in the events he has participated in this year as well, including the most recent win in Iron River.
Sartorelli participates in the events by Three Hills Rodeo and said he will continue with the events in the future. This year marked his first bull ride as well.
“It’s a big family thing and it is really enjoyable.”
