Three school board seats each up for a vote

CRYSTAL FALLS/IRON RIVER — Voters in Crystal Falls and Iron River will each fill three seats on their local school boards of education this coming election day. 
Forest Park School Board of Education President Jim Nocerini is up for re-election, as are Lisa Bloomberg and Angela Stafford. Stafford, who is the newest member of the board after having been appointed internally and sworn in in January, currently serves as board treasurer. 
All three are running to keep their current seats. In addition, Michael Brzoznowski, Allen Jaeger, Troy Margoni and Melissa Moser are all on the ballot.
West Iron County’s school board president, Fay Atanasoff, is also running for reelection. Alongside her seeking reelection, are trustees Marla Shamion and Julie LaMay. KC Atanasoff is also on the ballot. 
The general election is Nov. 8. The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
