Hunter Safety dates set in Iron River

IRON RIVER — Iron County Hunter Safety dates for the Iron River area have been set for this year. The classroom portion, to receive certification, will take place at the West Iron County cafeteria.
Hunter Safety dates and times are 3:30-6:30 p.m. on May 4, May 5 and May 6. The Field Day date at Camp Gibbs Recreation Area in Iron River will be held on May 8 from 9:30-11 a.m.
For home study, come to the cafeteria at 3:30 p.m. to register and get materials. For online course, go to hunter-ed.com/michigan.
All classes are required for certification. Hunter Safety certification is mandatory at age 12.
