Ice Hawks celebrate with championship parade

On May 1, the community celebrated the Ice Hawks’ recent 12-U B state championship victory with a parade through town led by the West Iron County Fire Department. The Ice Hawks defeated the Mount Pleasant Patriots 2-1 to win the title on April 25 in Burton. Players and coaches include Reese Laitila, Carson “Charlie” Costantini, Matthew Swenski, Casey Clisch, Ryan Turpeinen, Dylan Bowser, Tanner Nordstrom, Dominick Brunswick, Steven Solberg, Carson Sanregret, Aidyn Zimmerman, head coach Mike Hedtke and assistant coach Nate Turpeinen.
