On May 19, local first responders put on a mock accident for Forest Park High School students. It was a real-life scenario to help students understand the importance of making good choices when driving. The scene involved five high school seniors who chose to drink and drive following graduation parties. Forest Park officials would like to thank event-organizer Tom Bucek, as well the EMTs from Aspirus, the Alpha and Crystal Falls fire departments, the Iron County Sheriff’s Department, the Crystal Falls Police Department, the Michigan State Police and the Nash Funeral Home. “We love our community and their support in helping teach our students,” said Principal Jackie Giuliani.
