Wildlife Unlimited youth hunt scheduled

IRON RIVER — The annual Wildlife Unlimited youth deer hunt, scheduled for Sept. 11-12, is part of the business’ quality deer management program. 

Participants are required to attend a “sign in” session on Sept. 5 at the Alpha Rifle and Pistol Club. 

Wildlife Unlimited will reimburse participants for license fees as well as provide a firearm if necessary. It will also pay to have deer processed at Sommer’s in Crystal Falls. 

In preparation for the hunt, Wildlife Unlimited oversees the management of food plots, coordination of volunteer mentors and placement of deer blinds.
