IRON RIVER—Strap on your snowshoes or cross-country skis and bundle up for a fun day at Young’s Golf-Recreation-Dining for the 4th annual Winterfest to be held on Saturday, Jan. 22 starting at 10 a.m.
The one-day event will feature a variety of free family-friendly activities for the community.
Families can enjoy free snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, games, music, horse-drawn sleigh rides and more.
The schedule is as follows:
-Free trail use and equipment rental – all day
-Cribbage Tournament (teams) - noon registration, 1 p.m. start
-Cornhole Tournament (teams) - 11 a.m. registration, noon start
-Kids arts and crafts, games and face painting - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
-Alpha Michigan Brewing Company Tap Takeover – all day
-Live music by Paul Sundquist – 5 - 8:30 p.m.
-Horse-drawn sleigh rides – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
