Correction: Crevier joins First Lutheran as vicar

IRON RIVER — In our March 16 edition, the Reporter inaccurately reported that Vicar Lance Crevier was working at United Lutheran Church in Crystal Falls. We regret the error.
Crevier is actually ministering at First Lutheran Church in Iron River, while being overseen by Pastor DJ Rasner of United Lutheran. 
“[United Lutheran] was good enough to allow [Rasner] to help us out, which is a great thing,” said Ken Maki, vice president of the First Lutheran church council. 
He added that, without the help of Wartburg Theological Seminary (where Crevier is an online student in his second semester) and Rasner to create a collaborative learning site at First Lutheran, “we would have had to wait many years to get a minister.” 
“We want the community to know we are proud to have [Crevier] here and would like them to know what a great human being he is,” Maki continued. “And he’s really good with teaching and working with youth.”
