CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls District Community Library has a line-up of events for Spring 2022.
An Easter egg hunt and Easter story hour will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 9 a.m. at the library. After the stories, children will be doing some Easter paintings.  Snacks and juice will be provided.
A seminar titled “Simplify Your Spending and Savings” will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 6 p.m. Ryan O’Grady, a financial advisor for Edward Jones in Crystal Falls, will host the workshop. Participants will examine how to set personal financial goals; how to balance saving, spending, and borrowing to achieve goals; strategies for controlling debt and improving credit scores; and practical savings options for now through retirement.  The seminar is free and open for all to attend; refreshments will be served.
Anthony Williams, five-time winner of the National Morel Hunting Championship, will host a workshop on May 8 at 6 p.m. entitled “Pickin’ with the Champ.”  
Referring to Williams, the Detroit Free Press wrote: “He’s unbeatable...he is the morel mushroom picking master.” 
During the talk, Williams will share morel-picking advice for everyone from the novice to the seasoned pro, as well as stories and tips on where and how to pick the elusive morel.
