IRON RIVER — The Iron County Golden K Club has awarded five 2022 scholarships to Iron County High School Seniors. Three West Iron County students were named as recipients and two Forest Park students were named.
The individuals were selected based on their academic achievements, their perseverance through the COVID virus situation, their desire to excel/succeed, and their volunteer service to others in the community. The individuals selected for the scholarships are: Kali Applin, WIC High School, Ava Richardson, WIC High School, Lilly Hebert, WIC High School, Rayven Jacobson, FP High School and Tyler Dumke, FP High School.
The scholarships were announced at the recent Awards Ceremonies at each school and the $1,000 checks were presented to the students. The Golden K wishes them good luck as they continue their education goals.
