IRON RIVER — Kids and teens are invited to the West Iron District Library for the Annual Summer Reading Program beginning June 14. This year’s theme is Oceans of Possibilities.
The library is once again offering a kids’ reading program geared for ages 12 and under with weekly check-ins, fun craft projects and weekly challenges. Participants can earn book bucks to purchase prizes at the end of the program.
Additionally, the WIDL is also offering a teen reading program for ages 13-18 which will be self-paced with a 1,000 minute reading goal. The teen program will offer prizes at the 250, 500, 750, and 1,000-minute benchmarks including grand prize drawings at the end of the 6-week program. Additional details can be found on the Facebook event or by calling the WIDL at (906) 265-2831.
