Float The Paint in its Fifth Year

CRYSTAL FALLS — Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to participate in a free event sponsored by the Iron County Watershed Coalition on Sunday, Aug. 7, 1 - 6 p.m., on the beautiful Paint River in Iron County.  
Bring your canoe, kayak, or other personal floatation device to the Bates Amasa Bridge prior to 1 p.m. Car shuttling will be arranged. Register at arrival and plan to visit the Miskwaagamiiwiziibi Shelter after coming off the river for refreshments.
The Iron County Watershed Coaltion works to ensure the highest possible water quality in Iron County lakes, streams and wetlands by educating and engaging our community in projects that will restore and preserve our watersheds for future generations.  For more information visit ironcountywatershedcoalition.org.
