CRYSTAL FALLS — On Saturday, Aug. 27 Industrial Remanufacturing Service will host an auction starting at 10 a.m. at their shop located at 3 Superior Ave.
The business was started by John Krueger in 1995 behind Williams mini mall and moved to the current location in around 2000.
Krueger created a niche to repair hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves. They also offer custom machining, welding and fabrication for all hydraulic needs.
Recently, the shop has undergone some changes with the passing of Krueger in November of 2020.
With a keen awareness of the demand in the community and a desire to keep her father’s business and legacy alive, his daughter, Jamie Krueger stepped up to fulfill the role as the company’s CEO.
“We are still doing business as usual, but my dad kept a lot of things around and we want to clear it all out to make room for future plans of growth and expansion,” said Jamie. “We want to breathe new life into our 12,000 square foot building to better serve our community.”
The auction will feature: surface grinder, lathes (two) cylinders, valves, motors and pumps, parts for all of the above, seal kits, filters (air, oil and transmission), motor mounts, horizontal mill, power units and oil seals. Brands that will be featured include: Vickers, Danfoss, Eaton, Charlynn, Rexroth, Metaris, Prentice, Clark and Hitachi Valmet.
The Amasa Sawblade will also be onsite the day of the auction as a food vendor.
