American Legion to host 2nd annual walk-a-thon

IRON RIVER – The American Legion Reino Post 21 will host their 2nd annual walk-a-thon on Saturday, Sept. 24 from Noon to 3 p.m. starting at the American Legion located at 212 Washington Ave. 
    Moneys raised will go to the Veteran Relief Fund and remain in the local area. Participants can walk or run as far or short of a distance as desired. The walk will begin at the Legion and go to the WIC school and back. 
    There will be water provided and the auxiliary will have refreshments for purchase at the American Legion. There are also a limited number of T-shirts available for $10 each.
