Iron River Senior Center to host benefit event

IRON RIVER – The Iron River Senior Center, located at 814 N. 4th Ave., will host a benefit for Brad Benjamin on Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Proceeds from the event go to help Brad with treatments for his esophagus cancer. There will be a spaghetti feed from noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $10 a plate and kids under 5 are $5. Patrons also have the option to order out. 
The event will feature a raffle wheel including but no limited to: haircuts, oil changes, dining coupons, and an 18 hole golf outing. There will also be a bake sale, auction and 50-50 drawing.
