CRYSTAL FALLS – On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m., the Crystal Falls District Community Library will host a Zoom chat with horror writer Andy Davidson.
Davidson has written three horror books: “In the Valley of the Sun,” “The Boatman’s Daughter” and his newest novel, which was released last month, “The Hollow Kind.”
“In the summer of 2020, our Adult Summer Scares Book Club read his ‘In the Valley of the Sun.’ This book catapulted into my top five modern fiction reads ever list. We met with Davidson on Zoom, and he was the most gracious and humble guy. My sister even had her book club read the book after reading it for Summer Scares, and he met with her group too.  I think he is an author you should get to know, especially if you like great writing that builds twisty tales into exciting rising action that leads to heart-stopping and jaw-dropping conclusions,” said Evelyn Gathu, Director of the Crystal Falls Library.
To join the Zoom, use this address: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88343313880?pwd=bXlKZm93ODR1bnBnUWpENDJvcHhrdz09. The Meeting ID is: 883 4331 3880, and the Passcode is:  977086
All are welcome to join the Zoom chat.
“I really think that if you like reading and well-written books, you need to get to know Andy,” said Gathu.
