CF Friends of the Library to host Valentine's Day trivia and blind date with a book event

CRYSTAL FALLS – On Saturday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. the Friends of the Library will be hosting Valentine's Day Trivia. 
“All are welcome to an exciting afternoon of trivia. There will be prizes and refreshments. There will be easy and hard questions, so bring the whole family,” said Director Evelyn Gathu.
At the conclusion of the event, be sure to pick up your Blind Date Book. The Friends of the Library group will have lots of library books wrapped up in red and pink paper, and on the outside of each book there will be a hint as to what is inside, for example adult romance or young adult non-fiction. Then patrons can go home and unwrap their date book and read. 
"The Blind Date with a Book event last year was wildly popular, so this year we are bringing it back," said Gathu. "There are books for every reading level and genre, so please come and enjoy some stimulating trivia and then take your book home to read and relax. We hope this to be a wonderful winter event for our patrons."  The Crystal Falls District Community Library is located at 237 Superior Ave. in downtown Crystal Falls.
