Comedian Karen Morgan to perform at CF Theatre

CRYSTAL FALLS – Programming shifts from music to comedy when comedian Karen Morgan takes the stage at Crystal Theatre Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m. The event is the second in the Theatre’s 2023 Gem of a Season series.
A former trial attorney, Morgan began her professional comedy career as Finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America”.  The lawyer turned comedian, was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, but now lives in Maine.
Morgan’s TV appearances include comedy shows and ads for companies including Wal-Mart and Zyrtec. Her comedy specials can be viewed on Dry Bar Comedy and her latest album, “Cocktails in Pajamas,” is available on streaming platforms. Her stand-up shows are popular with audiences in performing arts centers around the country.
Calling herself a clean comic who finds humor in everyday life, Morgan pokes fun at parenting, marriage, relationships, family and aging “gracefully.”
“I was raised in the 70s and went to school in the 80s,” says Morgan, “ so expect some nostalgic trips to the past for Gen X, Gen Jones and Baby Boomers.”
