Donald McDonald

IRON RIVER —Donald “Don” J. McDonald, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette. Funeral services followed at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian with Rev. Raju Jose having offered the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery. The West Side Veterans accorded Military Rites at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Jacobs Funeral Home in care of the Donald McDonald Family for the creation of a plaque at Nelson Field honoring his football coaching career. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Donald “Don” J. Frank Bors

STURGEON BAY, Wis. — Frank P. Bors died Aug. 7, 2022, at 86 years old. He was born in Gaastra on June 16, 1936, to Apolina “Paula” Staniszewski Bors and John Bors. Graveside services were conducted Aug. 23, 2022, at Stambaugh Cemetery in Iron River. Forbes Funeral Home of Sturgeon Bay is handling arrangements.

Fred Stover

IRON RIVER — Fred L. Stover, 69, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, from 2 - 4 p.m. at The American Legion Reino Post No. 21. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Fred L.
