Beverly Peterson

CRYSTAL FALLS — Beverly Audrey (Noblet) Peterson, 82, passed away on Aug. 6, 2022, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility after a courageous battle with cancer.  Visitation for Beverly will take place Friday, Sept. 2, at Christ United Methodist Church, Crystal Falls, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Pastor Vicky Prewitt will officiate. Ann Johnson

IRON RIVER — Ann Johnson, 92, passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Legacy of the Northwoods in Eagle River, Wis.     Visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 26 at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services followed, with Vicar Lance Crevier having officiated. Interment in Stambaugh Cemetery. Beryl Smith

IRON RIVER — Beryl O. Smith peacefully passed away last Monday, surrounded by loved ones. A kind, sweet and gentle light was extinguished when Beryl, a long-time resident of Iron River, died on August 22, 2022, at age 69 at the Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain. Visitation will be held on Sept. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor DJ Rasner to officiate. Nancy Russo

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP — Nancy Ann Russo, 73, former Negaunee resident, entered eternal life at her home early Thursday morning, Aug. 18, 2022, while in the loving care of her husband and U.P. Home Health and Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 5, 2023, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee, with the times to be announced by Koskey Funeral Home. IRON RIVER — Thomas Kelley Sheldon, born January 1937, in Green Bay, Wis., died July 21, 2022.
