Let us remember

To the editor:
Most people believe the only time any active duty military people die, is during war. And on Memorial Day we mostly honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in war, which is only right and proper. 
But on Memorial Day, we also need to remember the forgotten ones. The hundreds who die every year on active duty from training accidents, accidents, illness, suicide and even homicide. 
So, this Memorial Day let us remember all who have died to keep us free.
