To the editor,
Three weeks ago, I had an article about saving those little tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee.
Remember “Little Ellie” from Iron River who was injured in a sledding accident? The family called The Ronald McDonald House their home for several months.
The Ronald McDonald House has been home for 49,000 families. We have collected and delivered 350,000 tabs. I stated it would be nice to get 150,000 by May 15. That is the day they have the “Tab Toss” at the Winter Services in West Allis. On that day they pay twice the going rate for aluminum.
WOW, have you responded. We have collected another 75,000 in just 3 weeks. Pat yourselves on the back.
You can drop the tabs off at the following locations: Bob & Jerry’s Bar in Kingsford, Tom & Jo’s and Stephenson Marketing in Aurora, Mine Shaft Bar & Grill, Leff’s Bar, and Northern Lites in Florence, Nichols Flooring & Tile in Iron River and Sach’s Bar in Tipler.
