Fall walleye fingerlings released into Sunset Lake

Through a Wildlife Unlimited of Iron County program, extended growth “fall” fingerling walleyes were released into Sunset Lake in Bates Township on Sept. 28. Mole Lake Fisheries, of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community, from Crandon, Wis., has been part of this restocking program for three years. This year, 5,500 walleyes were released into Sunset Lake.
