CRYSTAL FALLS — The Iron Baraga Conservation District, Dickinson Conservation District, and VanOss Forestry Services will host a Forest Exploration Day on Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The featured discussion will include: “Shiver me Timbers: Clearcutting for a Healthy Aspen Forest.” Participants are asked to meet at The Mansfield Township Hall located at 2804 M69, Crystal Falls.
Event-goers will then travel to various timbered sites within the township to discuss all things forestry.
This is a free event and lunch will be provided by VanOss Forestry.
