Northwoods Geology Club to host party

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Northwoods Geology Club will not hold a regular meeting in July, but will rather host a combination Christmas party, picnic and a short business meeting on Saturday, July 24 at Keyes Lake Park Pavilion near Florence. Take Hwy. 101 out of Florence for several miles and watch for the park sign on the right.      
    The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and will be followed by the picnic. The club will provide food and beverages. Attendees are asked to bring their own utensils, folding chairs and a snack or a dessert to pass.
