Winter Tree Identification Workshop

IRON COUNTY - The Iron Baraga Conservation District is hosting a Winter Tree Identification Workshop on Feb. 16 from 9 – 11 a.m. at Bewabic State Park, a State Park Pass is required.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to identity local trees when there are no leaves!

To sign up contact Carly DeVet, Iron Baraga District Forester at 906-236-5108 or email fap.iron.baraga@macd.org. When you sign up, you will be sent directions on where exactly to meet. We will be snowshoeing approximately one to two miles. Bring Snowshoes and dress for the weather.

The workshop is free, but we are asking you to pre-register.
