Little League receives funds from CoVantage Cares Giving Tuesday Campaign

IRON RIVER - Iron County Little League wass the 2023 recipient of the Iron River branch CoVantage Cares Giving Tuesday Campaign. They successfully raised funds to purchase fencing, dugouts, and a scoreboard for the “Swede” Anderson Park in Gaastra. 

The funds are also designated for other much needed county-wide field improvements. Some of the fundraising efforts include the following: A bake sale at CoVantage, the Christmas in Lights parade, a donation night at Riverside Pizzeria and a spaghetti feed with 50/50 and basket raffles at the Ottawa VFW. 

The Little League has grown tremendously over the past few years and now charters twelve teams. The Iron County Little League sends a big “Thank you” to the volunteers and all of you who sent in donations. Thanks for believing in our program and for supporting our kids!
