Twilight League golf

IRON RIVER – The Ladies Twilight League held its Annual Invitational Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 27. The two-women teams that participated were from Young’s, Portage, Watersmeet, Ontonagon, Oakcrest and the Gogebic golf courses.
Championship flight winners were: 1. Marion Lindquist-Amy Johnson 66; 2. Andrea Russell-Tianna Halfaday 73; 3. Linda Tamplin-Mel Naatz 77.
First flight: 1. Julie Melchior-Vicki Lobeck 84; 2. Diane Makela-Vicki Sargent 87; 3. Karen Polley-Joyce Myefski 89.
The dinner was catered by Terry Nissen and Dave Frailing, with help from Bob Busakowski.
