IRON RIVER – The West Iron Wykons continue to rebuild their program under Coach Nate Fales, dropping their record to 0–5 on the season with recent losses to the Flivvers of Kingsford on Dec. 20 (83–30) and the Negaunee Miners on Dec. 16 (70–30).
While both games were lopsided losses, the team is determined and their skills are improving.  Fales is working the team hard to keep them seeing the positive despite being challenged to grow through adversity.
Elijah Oberlin, an impressive sophomore with the height to make a difference in the coming years continues to put up strong numbers for the Wykons, while senior Matthew Dutcher is working hard as a regular contributor to the box score, often scoring in double digits.
