MARQUETTE - The Michigan Community Service Commission, in partnership with Youth Service America, is pleased to announce the availability of grants to support organizations in hosting volunteer service projects for Global Youth Service Day, April 28-30.
Grants from $100 to $1,000 are available. Applications will be reviewed based on their demonstrated effort in engaging youth in the development and implementation of the GYSD projects.
Projects can take place between April 1 and May 14.
Grant Funding Levels
• $1,000 grant to engage 101 volunteers or more
• $750 grant to engage 76 to 100 volunteers
• $500 grant to engage 50 to 75 volunteers
• $250 grant to engage 26 to 50 volunteers
• $100 grant to engage up to 25 volunteers
Who Can Apply: National service grantees, nonprofit organizations, K-12, and higher education institutions are eligible to apply.
